The Moto X packaging is very nice and premium feeling. Certainly not cheap.

Included in the box is the manual, SIM removal tool, charger, and a clear hard plastic bumper case. I personally hate clear cases, so I will probably go naked until some decent cases become available. But it’s a nice gesture to include some kind of protection.

I LOVE the feel of the textured back. It’s very unique for a smartphone. One of the reasons I didn’t want a wood back. Happy with my choice.

Overall the phone is very solid and feels very premium. Feels like it’s worth more than $400.

First thoughts

Love at first sight. It’s a big phone, but if you are accustomed to a OnePlus One or other larger phones, you are going to feel right at home. It feels fucking awesome IMO. It’s width is almost exactly the same as the OnePlus One, while it’s height is just a bit taller. Perfectly fine for me. They did an awesome job of cramming as much screen into the device as possible.

Performance seems blazingly fast. I’ll save the rest for the review, we will give you the full rundown in just a few days. But I can already tell that the OnePlus 2 has some serious competition when it comes to being the king of the $400 phone smartphone segment. Stay tuned for our full review right here.
